The AmCham is a voluntary association, non profit and non political, of businesses and people involved in investments in, and trade between, the United States of America and the Netherlands. The Netherlands is one of the most important destinations for direct American investments in Europe, and American companies are the largest foreign investors in the Netherlands. Companies with an American majority or minority participation provide employment for 225,000 people in this country. AmCham is offering its members the chance to meet each other to discuss current affairs pertaining in general to matters that have an effect on the entrepreneurial and investment climate in the Netherlands. In addition, AmCham acts as the voice of American-Dutch business in discussions with the Dutch Government on issues concerning Transatlantic investment and trade.
